A Dog, a Frog and a Flounder

At 6 years old, Katie knew that black lives matter. She witnessed systemic racism up close and personal. This book helps the reader understand how racism is taught because  most racist live in an echo chamber. Although this book is about Katie's escape from a toxic family, racism is the thread that runs through the entire story.

In a Mozambique Minute

Kathryn lived in Mozambique for three years with her two young boys and husband who served as the military attache' for the US embassy. Her total immersion in the third poorest country in the world was a "come to Jesus" meeting with the meaning of life and changed her heart and soul permanently. This story is funny, sad, thought provoking and educational. The ending is astounding.
